President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has launched the Presidential Zonal Industrial Hub in Ntoroko District, a major step in Uganda’s strategy to fight poverty and youth unemployment through free vocational training. The hub targets marginalized youth and offers practical skills in trades such as tailoring, construction, and electrical installation. Speaking at the event, President Museveni emphasized that true liberation lies in skilling citizens to create wealth. The initiative, praised by Deputy Speaker Thomas Tayebwa as a “game-changer,” has already enrolled nearly 900 learners and is expanding to meet growing demand.
