From June 17 to 19, 2025, Uganda hosted the 15th IFATSEA Africa Regional Meeting at Speke Resort Munyonyo, bringing together aviation safety experts to explore the integration of technologies like artificial intelligence into air traffic management systems. Opened by Justice Steven B. Kavuma on behalf of Minister Gen. Katumba Wamala, the event highlighted Uganda’s commitment to aviation safety and digital innovation, while showcasing Speke Resort as a premier MICE destination on the continent.
