Uganda’s Vice President Jessica Alupo, during her official visit to Moscow on June 10, reaffirmed the strong and growing ties between Uganda and Russia, rooted in shared values and mutual interests. In a bilateral meeting with Valentina Matviyenko, Chairperson of Russia’s Federation Council, Alupo highlighted Uganda’s preparations to host the 3rd Inter-Governmental Commission and emphasized the importance of expanding cooperation in areas such as investment, education, health, and technology.
