Uganda Flags Off First Milk Powder Export to Algeria in Major Trade Milestone

Uganda has officially commenced exports of powdered milk to Algeria, with President Yoweri Museveni flagging off the first 500 metric tonnes in a ceremony at State House Entebbe. The shipment, part of a $8 million deal totaling 2,100 metric tonnes, follows a 2023 trade agreement that opened Algerian markets to Ugandan dairy and coffee products.
