Uganda to Begin Dairy Exports to Algeria, Aims to Boost Domestic Consumption
Uganda is set to initiate dairy exports to Algeria, with the first shipment of powdered milk scheduled for next month as part of a deal signed earlier this year. The Dairy Development Authority (DDA) revealed that Uganda aims to export milk products worth up to USD 500 million to Algeria. The initial consignment consists of 120,000 metric tons, a fraction of the 1.4 billion litters agreed upon.
