President Museveni Returns from South Sudan Talks Focused on Regional Stability

The visit, which centered on discussions with President Salva Kiir regarding regional peace and bilateral cooperation, underscores Uganda’s ongoing diplomatic efforts to foster stability in the region.

Following a one-day official visit to South Sudan, where he discussed regional peace and cooperation with President Salva Kiir, President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni returned to Uganda yesterday, 4 April 2025. He was received at Entebbe International Airport by prominent government officials, including Ms. Lucy Nakyobe, Lt. Gen. Charles Okidi, and Mr. James Ochaya.
The visit marks another step in Uganda’s diplomatic efforts to foster stability in the region.
