President Museveni Heads to Karamoja Sub Region to Assess PDM Implementation
President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni will be heading to Karamoja Sub Region starting December 3rd and end his tour on December 5th 2024, according to a Press Statement dated December 27th 2024, the Department of Press, Public Relations and Communications indicated that the President will be Karamoja Sub Region to assess the performance of the Parish Development Model activities.

According to a press release issued on November 27, 2024, the Department of Press, Public Relations, and Communications announced that President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni will be visiting Karamoja Sub Region from December 3rd to December 5th, 2024, in order to evaluate the effectiveness of the Parish Development Model activities.
President’s letter
The statement indicated that during the President will visit some of the beneficiaries of the Parish Development Model and also meet and hold discussions with various stakeholders who include a cross section of local leaders and technical staff.
The President will also address a mega public rally at Kotido District before returning to Kampala for other important national engagements.
President Museveni has already held similar visits in Teso and Bukedi Sub Regions where he said that he was satisfied with the implementation of the Parish Development Model programme.
