Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba Reviews UPDF Operations at Gulu’s 4th Division HQ
GULU—Chief of Defence Forces Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba arrived at the 4th Division headquarters in Gulu to review ongoing military operations in the region.
He was welcomed by Maj. Gen. Felix Busizoori, Commander of the 4th Division, alongside other senior officers.
On his second day in Gulu, the CDF convened with the 4th Division and brigade commanders, receiving briefings on operations taking place locally, as well as in South Sudan and the eastern Democratic Republic of Congo.
The meeting also included Maj. Gen. Keith Katungi, who leads the neighboring UPDF 5th Division.
Following the briefing session, Gen. Kainerugaba addressed the troops engaged in the various operations. He extended congratulations to the newly enlisted members of the UPDF, commending their decision to join a noble and respected institution.
In his address, the CDF emphasized the importance of upholding the discipline for which the UPDF is renowned. He also urged soldiers to look after their well-being by maintaining peak physical and mental fitness.
